Event organiser (m/f)

Qaly@Beersel is looking, for its residential care and sheltered housing (service flat) complex in Alsemberg, to recruit an event organiser (m/f) who can act as an ambassador for the Qaly philosophy. The Qaly residential care and sheltered housing complex aims to provide a comfortable, luxury, ergonomic and safe living environment for senior citizens, with plenty of residential care rooms, retirement apartments and the highest level of services.

EVENT ORGANIZER (m/f) -  Support event organiser for the elderly – BAB

Working in a team with other nursing and care staff, you will create an environment where the residents feel completely at home, where the best possible assistance and care is coupled with as comfortable an experience as possible.

  • offering relaxation and a variety of activities: cookery, games, exercise, relaxation, multi-sensory stimulation etc.
  • organising talks, theatre and film presentations, excursions etc.
  • attracting external organisations to run activities
  • supporting volunteers
  • implementing a basic programme of events
  • organising active consultation on in-house activities
  • organising and chairing residents’ and volunteers’ meetings
  • highlighting the needs and requirements of the residents and their family members
  • updating the residents’ electronic care records
  • various administrative duties: preparing the events calendar, working with the occupational therapist to prepare, organise and evaluate excursions and activities, writing the in-house newsletter, maintaining event records for each resident.
